These terms cover use of GroupSlip at groupslip.app, operated by ModeBros LLC, doing business as GroupSlip, in Virginia, United States. Questions may be sent to groupslipapp@gmail.com. Please use the service only if you can comply with these terms.
No wagering required
You can use GroupSlip without wagering at all. Make paper picks—like paper trading for sports bets—by submitting a line and tracking its result with friends. No bet, sportsbook account or deposit is required. Results and unit returns are tracking calculations, not money won or paid by GroupSlip.
Eligibility
You must be at least 21 years old to use GroupSlip, including for paper picks. New and existing users must confirm this and accept these Terms before accessing app features. This self-confirmation is not independent age or identity verification. You are responsible for complying with laws applicable to you. This does not make you eligible to wager: sportsbook access, legal betting age, location and account rules are separate. Do not use GroupSlip to evade those rules or place bets on behalf of an ineligible person.
Tracking is not wagering
GroupSlip provides sports information, pick records, group coordination and slip preparation. We are not a bookmaker or sportsbook. We do not accept or place bets, collect, hold, manage or pool betting funds, pay winnings, or run paid prize contests. A group betslip is a shared set of selections, not a pooled wager, shared betting account or shared wallet. Submitting, changing, locking or settling a pick in GroupSlip changes a tracking record only.
Your own sportsbook account is required to wager
We help users prepare betslips and, where supported, open those selections at an independent sportsbook. To place a bet, you must have your own eligible sportsbook account, meet that sportsbook’s legal age, location, identity-verification and other requirements, and personally review and confirm the wager there. GroupSlip does not place bets on your behalf. Having a sportsbook account alone does not establish that a particular wager is lawful or permitted.
Check every selection, player, event, line, odds, stake and sportsbook rule before confirming. A generated slip or link is not a receipt, an accepted bet or a guarantee of the sportsbook’s price or availability. Funds, accepted wagers and any winnings remain between you and the sportsbook, not GroupSlip.
Data, results and estimates
Stats, odds and availability can be delayed, incorrect or missing. Saved prices may differ from current sportsbook prices. GroupSlip results, including manual corrections, do not override a sportsbook’s official grading or payment decision.
ROI, units and projected parlay odds are tracking estimates, not verified account balances, actual winnings or guarantees. Combined straight-leg prices can differ substantially from a sportsbook’s same-game or correlated parlay price. Research is informational, not a promise of profit.
Accounts and group conduct
Keep your account secure and supply accurate account information. Do not impersonate others, falsify picks or results, manipulate rankings, harass members, distribute unlawful material, scrape the service in a harmful way, or bypass security, rate limits or access controls.
Do not use GroupSlip to accept bets for other people, collect or manage pooled betting money, or organize paid prize contests. Group membership and access to our tools do not authorize gambling activities.
Group administrators manage rules, membership and permitted result corrections. Deadlines and saved prices follow the displayed group and slate rules. Shared group records may remain after a member leaves. You retain rights to content you contribute and allow us to store, display and transmit it as necessary to operate the features you use.
Availability and Free access
GroupSlip is in beta. Features may change and interruptions can happen. Do not rely on it as the only record of a wager or as a way to meet a sportsbook deadline.
Creating an account does not start a paid subscription or authorize a charge. Free includes up to two parent groups total, their slates and pick tracking, current odds, and limited NFL research. A child slate does not count as another group. Existing beta accounts with an active beta grant retain their included access without subscribing.
Premium subscriptions
When checkout is available, GroupSlip Premium offers monthly billing at $9.99 USD per month, quarterly billing at $24.99 USD every three months, or annual billing at $89.99 USD per year. The billing option you select renews automatically at its listed price until canceled. Any applicable taxes and the total due are shown before payment. Eligible Free accounts can start one 14-day Premium trial without a card. The trial starts only when you choose it, never charges automatically, and returns to Free at its displayed end time unless you separately subscribe. Your saved groups, picks and records remain; the Free limit applies to joining or creating new groups after the trial. Subscribing authorizes Stripe, our payment provider, to charge the selected payment method for the initial selected billing period and each renewal of that same period. Premium is research access, not a wager, deposit or entitlement to winnings.
Premium includes the research and group features shown in the plan comparison. Coverage varies by sport, player and source. Collected coach and injury reports may be incomplete or delayed; a subscription does not guarantee that a report exists for every player or that a pick will win.
Cancellation and billing help
Cancel from Profile → Settings → Your plan → Manage or cancel subscription. This opens our Stripe-hosted billing portal, where you can cancel, update payment details and view invoices. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues through the paid-through date shown for your subscription, then returns to Free. Your saved picks, records and existing groups are retained. If you already belong to more than two parent groups, you cannot join or create another until you are below the Free limit or subscribe again.
Signing out, removing the app shortcut or stopping use does not cancel a subscription. Cancellation does not automatically refund an earlier payment. For a billing mistake, refund request or difficulty canceling, contact groupslipapp@gmail.com. Applicable consumer rights are unaffected. A failed renewal may be retried and may require you to update your payment method; unpaid time does not automatically extend Premium.
External services and responsibility
Sportsbooks, authentication providers and delivery partners operate their own services under their own terms. You are responsible for the wagers you choose to make. This does not eliminate any responsibility GroupSlip or a third party may have under applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, information is provided without a guarantee that it is complete, current or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive your right to bring a claim.
Stopping use and getting help
You may stop using GroupSlip at any time and request account deletion through groupslipapp@gmail.com. We may restrict accounts for abuse, security threats or violations of these terms. Data handling and retention are described in the Privacy policy. Material updates will be reflected here with an updated date and additional notice where required.
