Can I use GroupSlip without betting any money?
You can use GroupSlip without wagering at all. Make paper picks—like paper trading for sports bets—by submitting a line and tracking its result with friends. No bet, sportsbook account or deposit is required. Results and unit returns are tracking calculations, not money won or paid by GroupSlip.
Does GroupSlip place bets or pool money?
No. GroupSlip is a research and pick-tracking tool, not a sportsbook. We do not accept or place bets, collect, hold, manage or pool betting funds, pay winnings, or run paid prize contests. A group betslip is shared selections—not a pooled wager or shared wallet.
Do I need my own sportsbook account?
Not to research or track picks. To place an actual bet, yes: you need your own eligible sportsbook account. GroupSlip helps you prepare slips and open selections where supported; you review and personally confirm any wager at the sportsbook. Its legal age, location and account requirements still apply. A generated slip is not a placed bet.
Do odds change after I submit?
No. The submitted price is captured with the pick, and price collection stops when the event starts.
Can I have more than one group?
Yes. An account can join or manage multiple groups, and a parent group can have dedicated rooms for touchdowns, yards, home runs, or broader markets.
What can I research?
NFL research includes player game logs, coverage splits, red-zone usage, with/without player filters, coach comments, injury updates and defensive matchup history. Baseball, college football, NHL and Premier League have their own game research. Available markets and history vary by sport and data coverage.
